At Pillars of Thought Press, we strive to provide resources that provide multiple learning opportunities at once. This planner, and its bilingual siblings in Spanish and Portuguese, were created with that in mind: plan your week, practice your foreign language with your kids and have the option to include Art Appreciation throughout the school year.

This planner’s theme is Art Appreciation in Impressionism: Motherhood and Childhood. You will have the option to:

• Read the ‘What is Impressionism?’ short story to your children to learn what this movement is about;
• Discover which 3 artists you will explore throughout the year;
• Each month, observe and learn about a painting from one of those artists.

It’s simple, it’s quick, and you get the opportunity to provide a little more art and cultural knowledge to your children through small and consistent steps!
